Both Capes are the same style and size but different in colour and weight. 

The Cape Daria is handcrafted from a thicker, heavier wool and uses colour blocks for variations in the design. It is priced at €149. 

The Cape Celestial is more lightweight, softer and crafted from a finer wool, and comes in monochromatic colours and is priced at €139. 

Both Capes are different in colour, quality and weight but are equally versatile and multifunctional!  

Just FLIP your Cape upside down (180 degrees) to create a whole new style and make it go from the long way to the short way. It is as simple as that! 


When worn long, the Cape looks like a jacket or dress. To make it short like a vest, FLIP IT around (turn it over 180 degrees) so that the long part goes on top and becomes a big warm shawl around your neck. With the Cape Daria, changing the length also changes the colour of your cape, because of the use of colours blocks.

The comfortably large, one size cape (45in x 65in or 115cm x 165cm) can be worn in 15+ innovative ways and usually fits up to size US 16 / EU 48. 


Also, the stylish cape has armholes that measure around 30 cm or 11.5in, so that it sits on the shoulders when worn, instead of slipping off. 

 

The Cape Daria and Celestial are both designed to suit various body types, including plus sizes (up to US 16 / EU 48). The armholes measure around 11.5in / 30cm and it is designed in a way that one size fits all.

Some items that are made to order can take a maximum of 2 weeks until it is ready. Email us at info@julahas.com if you have a question about a specific colour. 

You will receive a shipping notification with a tracking link as soon as your order has been shipped. You can also track your shipping using our Shipping Portal

Our products are shipped from our fulfilment centres in India and Netherlands. 

All EU orders are sent from our Netherlands fulfilment centre using DPD or PostNL.

All Non-EU orders are sent from our India fulfilment centre using DHL express.  

Depending on the import duties of the country you live in, your might have to pay customs duties. JULAHAS doesn't cover any customs duties; these will have to be borne by the customer. 

The JULAHAS Capes are handcrafted using pure wool sourced from government approved farming communities in the high altitude of the Himalayas. The mountain sheep, a cross-breed of Merino and local Himalayan sheep, are raised in natural pastures, making our wool absolutely organic by nature. 

Responsible sourcing is one of the fundaments of our business model and hence the farms we partner with not only support cruelty-free shearing but are also certified suppliers of organic wool. Shearing is done twice a year by experts and is humane. 

The Cape Celestial is handcrafted from fine, lightweight and soft wool, while the Cape Daria is woven from a heavier wool. 

Weaving irregularities give the cape its unique character. This uniqueness comes from the handmade crafting from our team of talented artisans who create a single cape over weeks, using traditional crafting skills on a wooden handloom. 

The JULAHAS Capes are designed in Amsterdam and handcrafted in the Indian Himalayas by artisans from Dev Bhumi and Himbodh using pure wool. 

It is better not to wash your product in the machine. We suggest that you hand wash your item using lukewarm water (30 degrees centigrade or around 86F) using a mild detergent or baby conditioner. Lay flat to dry after.

The best way to repair or reduce the damage is by looking at the direction of the pulled thread and stretching it back in place. To do this hold your Cape a few centimetres on either side of the loop and pull until you see the thread sitting back in place. That should help reduce the damage or even repair it completely. For items that are out of stock, you can see a Restock Notification button that says ‘Notify Me’ on the product page. By entering your email address, you can sign up to receive a restock notification from us as soon as the item is available again. 

We usually restock every few weeks and as soon as the previous batch of orders is completed. Because the handcrafting process takes a few weeks, we wait until our earlier orders are ready before we start to take on any fresh orders. If you want to know exactly when a specific item will be back in stock, please reach out to us at info@julahas.com and we can give you an estimated delivery date. 

Yes you can, but only within 48 hours of placing the order. Please reach out to our team at info@julahas.com and we will be happy to help!  

We accept a variety of payments including Credit Card, PayPal, Amazon Pay, iDeal and Apple Pay. 

You cannot edit your shipping details yourself. Please reach out to our team on info@julahas.com if you wish to change/update your shipping details and we will do it on your behalf. 

We make your returns easy! All items can be returned within 15 days of receipt and must be in their original condition and packing. We don’t accept items that are washed, worn or damaged after purchase. We don’t refund shipping costs, custom-made orders, customs duties or gifts. 

We make exchanges easy! All items can be exchanged within 15 days of receipt and must be in their original condition and packing. We don’t exchange items that are washed, worn or damaged after purchase. If you exchange your item for a lower value product, we will refund the difference. If you wish to purchase a higher value product, you will have to pay the difference in price.
