A lovely addition to my Celestial collection. The two cape colours are a deep and an almost creamy brown, both with a rose tint to it you can see beautifully in the tassels. To me, Leda is a quiet, but sophisticated cape creating calm and confidence.
As gorgeous as her namesake — Aphrodite is the vibrant coral pink of my dreams! 😍 Paired here with the coral red raffia belt and a Wool& pomegranate Maggie — the red in Aphrodite’s red-and-off-white weave is a very close match to both of these reds.
As always with Julahas, this garment is so well made!
It's soft, the colour is lovely, and I love that it doesn't have sleeves to it fits easily underneath a coad or overlay <3
My cape made her debut tonight at my art gallery opening. I felt pulled together and was plenty warm. I had four pieces in this show…my Kiln Formed Graffiti Glass series is inspired by the stories of female lighthouse workers.
I've been hunkered down again after just feeling like I could come out of my shell again, and am betwixt many things. But I loved that it was going to be a colder day today so I could put on true fall clothes—iris blue Rowena, pacific summit leggings, and Persephone come together like a beautiful jewel. My grandma would have loved this color combo
Today I’m wearing my dyed purple reclaimed Celestial Ariel- I absolutely love the mystery and reclaimed sales as a way to enjoy pieces that might not otherwise be sold by other companies! The dying process made this extra soft and fuzzy and I love it. Wearing it with my pride inspired sweater to head into the office!
Whether it’s one of my patchwork kimonos or a lightweight cape like this Celestial Namaka, I love how wearing my Julahas over my every day wor from home cozy clothes makes me feel elevated and elegant.
My mystery Daria arrived yesterday! I believe I got sample 903! It’s a lovely dark green, brown, and blue with a flash of pink on one end! It’s probably not a combination I would have picked but I really like it!
This Celestial Cape Thea is the perfect yellow. Quite neutral and bright, like wearing sunshine.
The fabric is quite thin so it moves and drapes beautifully. I really like I can wear it long and short.
This is beautiful and oh-so-soft! I have only tried it on so far, but can already tell I will wear this a lot. Such a perfect weight for all seasons. And the grey color is lovely, goes with everything but also has some depth and sheen to it.
Wow, this accidental “dark version” of Artemis is what Is been hoping for. A vibrant medium green strongly tinted with blue on an Olive base with ochre highlight gives this version more depth and colour punch than the original version. This batch is also coarser, but super light-weight, which means less pilling than my incredibly soft Demeter. Impeccable craftswomanship as always, including small “imperfections” that make each cape unique and show it has been created with care.
LOVE the brilliant cobalt blue of Cape Dia! As always, the wool of the celestials is so lusciously soft and drapes beautifully! Definitely a winner in my book!
I have waited for a green Celestial since I became aware of Julahas way back in 2021. Artemis was absolutely worth waiting for. The color is a divine cool-leaning neutral forest green, and the subtle mustard stripe adds a fun contrast. The lightweight wool is great for all seasons, adding another cozy layer in winter, but light enough to accessorize over during warmer seasons. I have paired her with several of my other capes, and she is always stunning. Excellent work as usual Julahas.
This cape is silky, squishy, light and goes beautifully with so many colors.
Daphne is so versatile, she can effortlessly go from a shoulder cover on a chilly date night evening, to a cozy multi layer winter ensemble.
If you're looking for a neutral cape that can handle it all, Daphne is it!
An olive base matched with a taupe colour and ochre highlights produces this understated, cozy, soft and yet airy cape. The craftsmanship is impeccable, and the overall colour impression is soft and versatile.
Beautifully crafted, airy, and oh so soft.
The colour is gorgeous: The fabric combines a brilliant, rather blueish medium emerald with a brown-toned olive and vivid ochre accents. It’s hard to pin down the colour, but the overall effect is of a soft, cool-toned green, not a clear jewel due to the Olive, but more like sediment-rich coastal waters with lots of biological activity. It’s by no means a clear or vivid colour, but a fascinating chameleon.
My blind date celestial finally arrived, along with my first cotton wrap top & sea glass kimono. I think someone looked at the blues I ordered & decided I needed a blue cape as well! The hand written label calls it a "dark blue" but I see more cornflower blue. Whatever, it's wonderful! I always forget the celestials & their lovely lightweight wool. I might even get to wear this soon in N California where "fall" means we might luck into 50°s in the evening. Already wearing the wrap top 😁
This beautiful Venus arrived yesterday, and while at first I was convinced it was too light and would never work, I actually kinda like it! It's a very soft color, but somehow still feels powerful.
I had zero outfit plan this morning, and just kinda grabbed stuff and went out the door. My plum Brooklyn and Neptune cape looked so good together for an unexpected day out. I love knowing I can just "grab and go" without looking like a hot mess 😅
Always be yourself, unless you can be a Hobbit. Then be your best Hobbit self!
Leda is helping me be my bestest hobbit self today, and I'm wondering if I could do a whole week of Shire outfits. Feeling cute, might try it. Might end up looking like a Nazghul 🤷
Thank you Kanak Hirani Nautiyal, I love my new Berry cape, straight out of the bag after another speedy delivery! Tonal or contrast - the Celestial is becoming my new favourite cape ❤️
Pictures are of my new Aniak and my new Namaka (my first Celestial 😊) which arrived yesterday and add to my growing Julahas staples - and how they work with my new (and also growing 🫣) Zuri collection even better than I had imagined!
I love Persephone- it is the softest cape I have! I purchased it as a split cape for more of a "vest" look. But it can still be worn "long" or "short" ways! It is a gorgeous deep, rich color! This will be worn with so many pieces! It is also great for layering!
