I have been thinking about Daria Cape Seine for a couple of years. Luckily, the imperfect sale was my opportunity to try one! I would describe this cape as understated elegance. It has beautiful rich colors, but also a lot of fun to it. Since I wear a lot of plums, burgundy, Teal and black types of colors, this cape will go with much of my wardrobe. But it is not a dark cape at all and actually has a bit of playfulness with some peach and yellow! As with the other Daria capes, it has a gorgeous weave and all the colors complement each other beautifully. I am so happy I was able to finally able to try Seine. I expect this will be on a regular rotation!
This is my second(!) Bina top. My first one was in linen, and this one is a block, print cotton. As with the other Julahas block prints, the fabric is extremely light and comfortable. It drapes nicely and will be perfect for the summer! Similarly to my first linen version, I will probably get the front neck line lowered. As this top is very thoughtfully designed to be reversible, the neckline is high on both sides. However, I expect to only wear it with the buttons (and lower hemline) in back. I’m sure with the fabulous Julahas customer service this could have been a customization if I had thought about it more ahead of time. Really a fun shirt!
I love everything about these Jamdani pants. The handwoven fabric, the colour, the fit, the fact that it has French seams and the seamless way that Customer Service arranged for customisation with fabulous results.
This is a stunning piece. It's light and airy but added a touch of warmth in the SF Bay Area changing climates. It went perfectly with my silver jade Wool& Freya and added a bit of shimmer.

I love everything about this jacket! The reversible design with buttons on BOTH the inside and outside is such a special detail. I had a really difficult time selecting which specific jacket to buy because they’re all such unique and beautiful items. I love how the fabric is masterfully pieced together on the back to create a patchwork like pattern. This jacket feels heavy/substantial, but the fabric is breathable and which means it can be utilized in many seasons.
The stitching is amazing. The design is extremely detailed and I am amazed at all the work that went into creating this jacket. It’s a work of art!
I also found that the one size cut of this jacket is pretty generous. The website says it fits up to a L but I am more a L/XL (US size 14) and I feel like there’s still plenty of room left in the chest for me to move freely snd comfortably when buttoned.
Beautiful, colorful scarf!
This scarf goes with so many colors: red, purple fig, ochre, black and teal. Maybe more? I’ll soon find out as the weather cools here. While it is very colorful, you can also tie it (see picture), and the colors don’t stand out quite as much. I love a scarf that will go with multiple things! I saw someone showing it off (Michelle?) on the JULAHAS website, and I ordered it the next day.
This piece is so gorgeous and the craftmanship is excellent. I love that it's reversible to extend the opportunities for wear. The silk is lush, soft, and has vibrant colors. I wish I could afford ALL the things!
So soft and gorgeous! This duster has the silhouette of a kaftan and the boiled wool is so soft with a gorgeous woven pattern. It is so warm yet free in the arms, and the pockets are quite sturdy. I hope more of these are released for others to enjoy, this is just such a comfy yet elegant blanket that's been turned wearable!
I love my kimono so much - this is my first vintage stories piece! The silk outer fabrics feel cozy and warm, so this piece actually works as a transitional layer, especially over a long sleeve shirt.
I love the vibrant colors! Wore it to an exhibition opening with flared jeans anns black boots and received several compliments and inquiries about its origin. The silk makes the colors look so beautiful, and the contrast stitching adds so much character. I’m planning on wearing it reversed too, but no pictures yet.
I was a bit hesitant about the Trudis, as I already love my capes and kimonos and did not think I would need any other products. However, trying on a friend's tea trudi quickly changed my mind, and when there was a restock I knew I needed to get my own tea trudi! I really love rosehip, its a wonderful cool purple/pink, and it goes very well with my new plum Rowena.
Now I am looking at the art trudis for winter...
This wasn’t on my radar until I saw it in person at a pop-up. I’m so glad it was available to try there because boy do I love this kimono! It looks so much prettier in person than the photos. The dual color adds a shimmer that the camera can’t capture. The drape is also perfect. I’ve worn it over dresses and trousers as a coat, as a cozy layer when hanging around the house, and to add a bit of instant interest/drama to otherwise plain outfits. I love it so much that I’ve ordered another.
Wow! The cotton linen Trudi is absolutely fabulous! It is surprisingly light and airy. The lighter color of the weave make the Trudi seem to shimmer - almost like it is reflecting light. The extra design features of the edge color on the side seams and the bottom border add to the overall polished look. The new slit in the bottom side seams allow the Trudi to lay straight in back so there is no “ballooning” of extra fabric. The fact that it is reversible makes it even more attractive. This is so well done! Highly recommend.
I love art. I love Julahas. The two together in embroidery is just sublime! This duster is a great statement piece, interesting and conversation worthy, light yet sturdy. I will treasure this and style it with many wardrobe pieces from simple dresses to jeans.
This lightweight, flowy, colorful kimono is a true four-season beauty! It’s as lightweight as the fusion capes. The colors are vibrant. The one caution that because the squares are solid colors, any pulls show easily, so this is not a kimono to where in situation where it might be subject to damage. That said, I love, love, love it.
I elected to customize this new Deep Salmon into a short cape coat. Thanks to the fabulous Julahas customer service and the always amazing Talath, I now have this beautiful cape coat. This new fabric is very soft and light, even lighter than previous wool silk items I have (which are also phenomenal). It also has a gorgeous diamond, weave pattern, which brings even more interest to the fabric. Due to the softness, it has a nice easy drape as well. So very happy with this gorgeous cape coat!
This is my third block print cotton wrap top (along with two others in linen and one denim tencel) so I’m obviously a big fan! They’re lightweight and perfect to wear with casual dresses and cover arms when needed. I just wish the stock was balanced with the demand, because it’s not unusual for the larger sizes to be sold out in every fabric, while there are lots of the smaller sizes available (for reference I wear a M or L in other things and the larger size wrap top fits me perfectly, so maybe that’s true for most of us.) If you see one you like, don’t hesitate!
My 4th wool-silk kimono ❤️ Need I say more? I love the material, it's warm yet I don't overheat, it's soft yet sturdy and the drape is lovely. And of course I love the colour!
Pleasantly surprised with this shirt. I was attracted to its unique design as well as it being reversible. It goes great with leggings, jeans and straight leg trousers. While I can tuck it in, I think it may be too blousy to wear with wide leg trousers, but not sure yet. It is also long enough that I can wear a belt or even an Obi belt over it if desired. I do wish the neckline(s) were slightly lower. All in all, this is a very cute shirt!
Absolutely love the silk Trudi ponchos. They are so soft, light and airy, making them extremely comfortable to wear. Secondly, they are reversible, so you are getting a lot of versatility. Lastly, you can dress them up for an elegant evening or pair with jeans and they look equally fabulous. Highly recommend!
Such a lovely, warm later for autumn and early winter! I like to wear this as my jacket outside! It can easily be wrapped and tucked in front, similarly to the capes, for extra warmth! The borders area absolutely stunning!
Trudi Poncho Artemisia (named after the Italian artist Artemisia Gentileschi, 1593-1654) is made of wool (the same quality as the Daria capes) and has very deep and beautiful colors. The pictures do not do them justice. Maroon red, dark brown, dark green, taupe, blue-grey and dark blue, to name the most important ones. The diamond weave is very special. I had the collar and front panels customized so that they are stitched like my kimonos. A lovely garment and true piece of weaving art that will get worn a lot. Thank you!
I like the Trudi silhouette a lot. This is my first Tea Trudi (Hibiscus) in a very fine wool quality. It flows lightly, warms without being heavy. Very, very lovely. The color, a mix of a deep wine purple and a lighter pink, is very versatile. (I find it difficult to capture the colors correctly.) The weaving is exquisite. I had the collar and front panels customized so they would be stitched like my other kimonos.
This is such a gorgeous scarf. The colours are an absolute cheerful dream for me, and the structure and optics of the card are divine. I also appreciate the peace silk: The cruelty-free approach to silk definitely is commending this work. The only downside is that the beautiful structure of the scarf means that it feels much stiffer and scratchier than I had anticipated ordering a silk scarf. Otherwise, it is lightweight and folds really small. Recommended, if you can stomach the texture.
I’ve had my eye on the Jamdani cardi and pants for a while now and snapped up a cardi at the Amsterdam pop-up. The pants were sold out but there was a very unexpected bonus: there was a wrap skirt! This combo is so beautiful and the fabric is very special with the carefully woven in coloured threads. It’s thick enough to wear in chilly weather and drapes surprisingly well. I’ll be ordering the pants very soon to make a lovely little capsule wardrobe.
These belts! Truly amazing! They fit size ups and downs and can be adjusted throughout the day so easily. They stay in place and are gentle on the clothes you wear them with- no buckles to snag! Love them!
I received this Wrap Top last week, but didn’t have time to really try it. Then I was in Amsterdam for the pop up and had the chance to try others there. So today I took the time and tried it with various options. I was really pleasantly surprised when I put it on over my long sleeved Rosa from wool&, it did add a nice bit of warmth and made me realize it didn’t have to be just a spring and summer option. I’m so happy with this Linen Wrap top. It’s a fantastic addition to my wardrobe!!! 😍
To be fair, the russet is my third (and probably not last) Amber scarf, so I sort of knew what to expect...and wasnt disappointed. The cotton fabric is a bit stiff to begin with and may carry a smell, good news, you can easily wash it in the machine. Which I did, and then rolled up to dry to keep those wrinkles. Smell gone and the fabric will soften up further with use. As the scarf is huge but folds up small it easily doubles as a wrap, a shawl and in a pinch as a thin blanket. Due to the printing process, it has different sides. The russet is a lovely reddish brown or maroon red, not a true red. It complements and compliments my autumn palette well!
When I first saw this cape I really wasn’t sure about it, but there were some really strong selling points, especially since it is a cotton close weave. Then as I saw several people start to style it, it started getting more interesting. When I went to the pop up, there were so many gorgeous things including the new Trudi, but once I tried this cape on, I just absolutely loved it.
This cape is so versatile and fun!!! It allows you to create the looks you want without needing a belt or having it untuck. I absolutely adore this cape!!!
Absolutely perfect colors! This is the cape paired with my favorite dress. I love these colors. So happy it was in cotton because it is still too warm here to wear. It will go with many of my dresses because it is my favorite colors :) the regular size fits very well. I am average size and a little tall.
I wanted a Trudi for months and just couldn’t decide, so I went ahead and picked the one whose name I liked best! Turns out these colors are perfect to just grab and go (like instead of a denim jacket), but I have also found some pieces that really coordinate to make a nice outfit.
This is my first Julahas cape and wow, just wow! Stunning artistry, high quality, gorgeous colors and clearly an heirloom piece.
I get compliments every where I go in this - whether at a community circle, Waldorf school event or in the grocery store…the compliments literally don’t stop coming.
When I wear this, I feel like a goddess, just floating through my day. The weight of it adds just enough extra vavoom in my walk, while keeping me cozy but not too hot. It also layers quite well with long cardigans so comfortably.
This is a petite cape. For sizing reference, I am 5’0”, 123lbs, 34” chest and wear a mix of small & medium.
Another gorgeous belt added to my Julahas collection! Wraps beautifully and just as flattering as their wool Obi belts. Love how the pattern uses a thread with just enough sheen to elevate it up just a touch more than the listing on their site appeared. So beautiful!
Absolutely loved this belt so much that I needed to come back and buy a couple more. I’ve found that most woven belts, while beautiful, don’t always lay how I want or always have one unflattering side to it, but that’s NOT the case with this Obi belt!! The wool, shape and structure of it cause it to lay perfect flat in the most flattering way, both in front and in back. Love it so much!
The depth of this burgundy red is so lovely and can shift ever so slightly depending on what you pair it with.
