Wrap yourself in the warmth of the JIVA Wool Silk Kimono, handcrafted from Himalayan wool and handspun forest silk. Designed to be oversized and relaxed in fit, this single-layer piece drapes with ease and includes handy pockets.
Each kimono is handwoven on a traditional wooden loom by the artisans of Dev Bhumi, using a twill weave that enhances both durability and drape. By combining two different shades in the warp and weft, the fabric develops a rich interplay of tones, giving the garment an intricate texture and depth that reveals new dimensions with every movement.
Produced in small batches and Craftmark certified, it unites traditional craftsmanship with modern design to create a timeless wardrobe essential. I

I'm a cape girl. But I wanted a thin but warm layer to quickly throw on over any outfit for my daily car commute in the colder months. When Kimono Sunset got a restock I snatched one up. It is an easy to wear, cosy layer, that goes with a lot of outfits in my wardrobe. While the capes are more flexible for different stylings in my opinion, the kimono is the perfect layering piece during the current transitional weather: easy to slip on while the wool/silk mix creates a cozy warmth, that is just right. So now I'm looking forward to the colder days, when the cape plus kimono style will be my warm companion for commuting, holidays or leisure time, as the current weather still makes me choose one or the other.
So enjoying this Julahas cotton kimono Sky that Vicki Stevens gifted to me! While I love it with all black underneath, it also works with some prints! It also goes well with our black and white dog.
Tonight I’m wearing the Julahas Wind kimono over wool& flowered dress and lavender summit leggings. I don’t think I had posted Saturday evening, but maybe we hadn’t started yet? I was wearing a favorite outfit: this same kimono over wool& iris blue Daria and forest green Summit leggings along with my iris scarf.
This Wind Kimono is fast becoming my favourite cosy coverup. 🥰
I came home from my trip and didn’t wanna unpack immediately (cuz who does that?! lol 😂) but then it got chilly in the evening and I actually made all the extra effort to dig into my luggage to find my wool& Adeline and Julahas Wind kimono because I needed to be snuggled and the combo of these two together just hits the right spot!

I had to quickly throw on my new floral wool wrap shirt with my Onyar, Joy, and this pink wool silk kimono I've forgotten the name of… I have missed playing with prints (which I used to do a lot of), and this one is amazing with almost every Julahas piece I own! I’m going to have so much fun playing!
Giving my kimono in Sunset a wear today! This was an "imperfect" due to a smell issue (hay), and I still actually just love the smell so much 😅 I paired it today with my Wool& Sierra (day 26/30), and the scarf from my mystery reclaimed short cape and scarf, used as a belt! Snag merino tights, a Woolx top underneath, and Birkenstock boots round it out.
I know there was a question yesterday on what do do with scrap peices, and I suggested belts! I think that cape and other remnants could easily be patchworked together to create fabulous belt options ♡

Cold but not windy, snow happening!!!!! This with underlying wool layers Sydney, Billie, and Luna are absolutely perfect.
The craftwomanship is impeccable as always. The colourway is so special and beautiful and almost impossible to photograph accurately. The silk has a reddish tint to it, and creates a vibrant medium brown when combined with the dark brown wool. It’s a beautiful piece for my dark autumn palette that will get worn a lot.
This was my first purchase from Julahas, and I’m very pleased with the soft, thick fabric and the way it drapes so nicely. The softness is a great bonus! But it was the beautiful coffee color that made me decide to purchase it, Just so lovely.🤎
Kimono Fuchsia is the most amazing colourway! Purple and green, it changes colour depending on light and what you wear with it. Lots has already been said on fabric. Soft and cosy and not as prone to snagging as you'd think
The Wool. Silk Coffee Kimono is just perfect! It blends rustic with elegant, creating a truly amazing fabric. The rich brown, copper, and dark brown textures woven together give it a shimmery effect. Plus, the wool silk fabric is light, soft, and flows beautifully. (Happy surprise- the ochre belt also works well with it) Highly recommend.
Tho is going to be such a useful piece. The fabric of this kimono is smooth and I took a closeup of the pattern as it’s beautiful. In black it will sober-down outfits that need a bit of calming or give a bit of the dramatic. The drape is just beautiful due to the weight of it and it falls right below my knee at the back. It’s official - it’s love! 😍
Initially, I didn‘t think I would like Sunshine for myself. So I got a forerunner, kimono Hay (which I love!). Then I bought a customized Sunshine overlay and - realizing how much I love the very special color combination and how versatile it is - I ordered a Sunshine kimono when it was restocked. I now have Earth, Hay and Sunshine and don‘t think any of them is redundant. Here I combine Sunshine with Daria Zambezi on a cold and snowy day.
I am new to wearing Julahas since it has just gotten cold enough for this hot natured woman. I purchased this Jiva wool silk air from bst and love the scrumptiously deep teal color. And it is soft and cushy. The shape and flow make me feel a bit runway and I don’t even have to wear heals. The only downside is the catching the sleeves on the doorknobs, which I only did 7 times today. Still totally worth it. Have bought a couple of this style and like them all. My portrait mates are Smidge the schnauzer and Arlo the yorkie. I am also wearing wool& dyed red Eliza and pacific summit pocket leggings.

I chose wool silk Sunshine to go to church today on our first chilly weekend morning of the season. It is currently 55° with a brisk wind — cool enough to want a cozy layer but not truly cold yet. This is my favorite season.
My wool silk kimonos are the hardest working pieces in my wardrobe. They can be a robe for loungewear, an accent piece, or even outerwear.
I have a few colors of these in my collection now, but the warm purple and copper woven together probably make this one my favorite if I had to choose just one

This fabric is pure luxury! It's soft and cozy and a perfect weight. I want to buy all the things in this fabric! I was surprised by the color so wanted to add some detail to help out others who are considering this piece. The light stripe is a perfect match to a light denim color, and very close to wool& dusty blue. The dark stripe is more of a cobalt, not the medium denim color I was expecting. It is an exact match for the new St. Louis Blues jerseys. I also photographed it next to my medium blue jeans and as you can see, the kimono is much brighter. I was expecting this to be a muted neutral, but it is a brighter, more vibrant color.
This kimono is incredible. It is hard to photograph well because the colors shimmer when you move a certain way. I was at a wine tasting event, and actually had people comment how stunning the kimono was. It is very soft and incredibly comfortable to wear. It is gorgeous. Highly recommend.
