The COTTON OVERLAY CHAAP is a gentle fusion of comfort, style, and conscious design. An easy, one size layering piece with handy pockets that you can wear over your favourite dress, with a tank top and jeans or even over your bathing suit, our Chaap Overlay is made from an airy blockprinted cotton fabric. Featuring a customised leaf print, exclusively created for Julahas, our cotton overlay embodies effortless elegance and everyday ease.

Handcrafted in small batches using handcarved wooden blocks, each piece is the result of a meticulous, labour-intensive printing process. The name ‘Chaap’—meaning “imprint” or “signature” in Hindi—reflects our belief in giving purpose to what already exists. Made from hand block-printed fabrics, each overlay celebrates mindful fashion—crafted with care, nothing wasted, and designed to last.
