Part of our Indo-Dutch Embroidery Capsule with Yogi Textiles, the design takes inspiration from the swirling lines of Vermeer and translates them into Kantha embroidery, a traditional Indian stitching technique worked entirely by hand. Delicate lines and motifs travel across the fabric, adding texture, movement and the unmistakable character of handcraft.

Handcrafted by our artisan partners the Yogi Textiles. For this collaboration, we borrowed a little inspiration from some very familiar names — Van Gogh, Mondriaan and Vermeer — and translated their visual language into embroidery.
