The Wool Poncho Trudi is a wearable canvas of color, texture, and craft. Inspired by Trudi, the mother of our Julahas Community Manager, this silhouette is an ode to her unique personal style. This limited edition batch was created using using on-stock yarns, making it full-panel construction. Handcrafted by women artisans of Dev Bhumi using 100% wool, each piece uses playful colours woven to create a gender neutral, free-size poncho that is both stylish and warm.
Designed as a free-flowing, open-front poncho, with free size armholes, the Trudi drapes beautifully over the shoulders, offering effortless layering, comfort, and style. Each one-of-a-kind piece is free size, celebrating individuality and craftsmanship.

I wanted a Trudi for months and just couldn’t decide, so I went ahead and picked the one whose name I liked best! Turns out these colors are perfect to just grab and go (like instead of a denim jacket), but I have also found some pieces that really coordinate to make a nice outfit.
The wool Trudi “Joplin” is absolutely amazing. The texture and feel are wonderful, making it as comfortable as it is beautiful. The alternating shades of olive, greens and teal blend together, creating a rich, multi-dimensional look. The pockets make the Trudi even more easy to wear. My only wish is for the front seam to be finished with a different type of binding. I additionally love the signature Julahas diamond weave pattern, also found on many of their capes. The weave adds an elegant touch to this Trudi and makes the piece truly stunning.
